Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

A global leader in educational and writing support services is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing procurement processes, and overseeing contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end procurement process management for indirect categories (IT, office supplies, consulting services, facilities, HR, marketing).
  • Sourcing strategy development to deliver cost savings and value.
  • Leading RFPs, RFQs, and supplier selection processes.
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues related to quality, service, or delivery.
  • Identifying opportunities to optimize the supplier base and reduce procurement risk.
  • Collaborating with finance and legal teams on budget alignment and contract terms.

About the Role

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Manage end-to-end procurement process for indirect categories.
  2. Develop sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and value.
