Procurement Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead procurement processes, drive efficiency and effectiveness, and oversee a team of procurement professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate purchase requisitions and contracts with 100% accuracy.
  • Drive end-to-end procurement processes with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead root cause analysis for delayed PRs and reduce cycle times through process improvements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and track product delivery to ensure timely receipt.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives and vendor selection to optimize procurement operations.
  • Oversee a team of 6-8 procurement professionals, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5-7 years of experience in procurement operations and sourcing, with a proven track record of success.
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams, with a focus on leadership development and employee engagement.
  • Experience with eProcurement tools such as Ariba, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Strong communication and client service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
