Senior Executive Purchase Specialist
Job Title: Senior Executive Purchase Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven senior executive to lead our procurement team in driving strategic sourcing initiatives and optimizing overall supply chain efficiency. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth procurement of critical materials, effective supplier management, and maintaining market competitiveness.

Responsibilities:
  1. Source and procure high-quality raw materials, components, consumables, and tooling for manufacturing operations.
  2. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery performance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Raise and monitor purchase orders based on production schedules and inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  4. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
  5. Track market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives to maintain a competitive edge.
  6. Coordinate with production, stores, quality, and finance teams to ensure end-to-end procurement alignment and efficient process execution.
  7. Maintain accurate documentation for audits, vendor evaluations, and management reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
  • MBA in Operations Management (Mandatory)
Experience:
  • 3-4 years of hands-on procurement experience in an automotive ancillary or Tier 1 supplier environment
Skills:
  • Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Others)
  • Familiarity with automotive standards and documentation
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
