Business Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis

The primary role of this position is to provide comprehensive and timely support to the FP&A function. This involves the preparation of various financial reports and schedules, including monthly management reports and quarterly projections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management reports and schedules, providing insights and summaries to assist decision-making and planning processes.
  • Collection, analysis, and presentation of large datasets in the form of excel templates and ppt.
  • Review and correction of actual financial data for General Ledger (GL), Cost Centre (CC) & Fund usage, identifying irregularities and making necessary corrections.
  • Supporting the annual budgeting process, quarterly projections, and reporting on KPI's, including updating Budget templates.
  • Updating budgets in SAP, monitoring variances, and addressing queries related to budgets.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc accounting and reporting needs of the Finance department, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to evolving financial demands.
  • Collaborating with Finance and other stakeholders daily, fostering effective communication.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness in reporting and analysis.

Requirements:

Education and Experience
  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration.
  • Desirable: Chartered Accountant Intermediate/CMA Intermediate/MBA Finance.
  • Relevant corporate experience (project or management training).

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Interpersonal skills, good communication skills.
  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail, time management.
  • MS Office, AI tools.
