About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Affordable Housing Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and project finance, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

The successful applicant will be responsible for structuring affordable housing deals and applying for funding from various government sources. This will involve preparing detailed financial models and supporting documentation, as well as researching new funding opportunities and expansion initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing MS Excel based funding applications
  • Preparation of support documentation for funding applications
  • Monitoring and tracking documents and checklists
  • Researching new funding opportunities and expansion initiatives

The role requires a high degree of initiative, responsibility, diligence, and professionalism, with excellent oral and written communication skills in English. The analyst will work remotely as part of a team and is expected to be available from 3:30 PM IST to 12:30 AM IST.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants should have:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in business, construction management, or a related field
  • A minimum of two years' experience in real estate, underwriting, financial modelling, or financial research
  • Background in financial analysis, project/infrastructure finance, credit analysis, valuation, balance sheet analysis
  • Degrees from US-based colleges and/or work experience in the US are desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF
