Job Title: Analyst/Senior Analyst/Lead - Alternative Investment

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Analyst/Senior Analyst/Lead - Alternative Investment. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting market research, and providing valuable insights to support business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in investment operations, with a minimum of 2 years of experience. You will be working closely with our FinOps team and Valuation Committee to update valuation models, track monthly performance of positions, and identify areas for improvement.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including deal analysis, loan portfolio purchases, loan stratification analysis, historical performance reviews, price modeling, credit facilities, forecast modeling, cumulative collections curves, runoff models, and other specialty finance opportunities.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English. Experience with BI tools such as QuickSight or PowerBI is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deal Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of investment deals, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and due diligence.
  • Loan Portfolio Purchases: Work with the FinOps team to identify and acquire new loan portfolios, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Loan Stratification Analysis: Analyze and evaluate loan portfolios to identify areas of high risk and potential return.
  • Historical Performance Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of investment performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Price Modeling: Develop and maintain pricing models to ensure accurate valuation of investments.
  • Credit Facilities: Work with the Valuation Committee to ensure timely and accurate provisioning of credit facilities.
  • Forecast Modeling: Develop and maintain forecasting models to predict future investment performance.
  • Cumulative Collections Curves: Analyze and evaluate cumulative collections data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
