Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand their responsibilities by demonstrating consistent and reliable performance.

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, coding vendor invoices, reviewing financial reports, processing bank transactions, and preparing balance sheet reconciliations. Additionally, the candidate will need to understand and project cash timing differences between the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems. They should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, and comfortable working through ambiguity. A B. Com or similar qualification with 2-3 years' experience is required, with public accounting experience and CPA or CA certification highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with US GAAP
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable daily
  • Code Vendor invoices and schedule payments
  • Review financial reports and prepare journal entries
  • Process and record bank transactions
  • Customer invoicing and payments application
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  • Understand and project cash timing differences
  • Review and prepare Excel files analyzing financial data
  • Respond to questions from employees, vendors, and customers
