At the heart of every great customer service team is a skilled Investigator who can navigate complex issues with ease and finesse. As a Customer Service Investigator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive prompt, effective, and efficient resolutions to their concerns.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, with a minimum of 6 months' experience working on similar programs. You will be responsible for managing ongoing escalation cases, tracking the appropriate reasons for these escalations, and liaising with customers to gather further information and provide updates. Your ability to think outside the box and demonstrate a high level of confidence in dealing with escalated situations will be essential in this role.

As a member of our team, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment where you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a thorough understanding and resolution of customer escalations. We are looking for someone who is flexible, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent time management skills and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ongoing escalation cases to ensure prompt, effective, and efficient resolution for customer issues
  • Track the appropriate reason for these escalations, which assists analytical processes and reporting regarding customer escalations
  • Liaise with customers for further information, to provide updates, and to prompt for documentation
  • Escalate concerns, where appropriate, and as requested by customers

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months tenure working on similar programs
  • 1-2 years of customer service background, with experience in the credit card industry preferred
  • Previous experience with handling escalated calls an asset
  • Demonstrate a high level of confidence while dealing with escalated situations/customers
  • Flexibility in mindset and approach to ensure individualized customer service catered to the specific customer issue or need at hand
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Must be open to constructive feedback from supervisor, operational leads, and team coordinator
