Customer Service Representative Job Description
  • This role involves interacting with customers via phone, email, chat, or social media to address their queries and resolve issues.

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong customer service orientation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inbound Call Handling: Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  2. Outbound Calls: Conduct follow-up calls, make promotional calls, or sales-related calls as required by business needs.
  3. Multi-channel Support: Offer support through various channels such as phone, email, chat, or social media.
  4. Customer Engagement: Foster positive relationships with customers through effective communication, empathy, and issue resolution.
  5. Sales & Upselling: Identify opportunities for sales, product upgrades, and cross-selling during customer interactions.
  6. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and document details in CRM systems.
  7. Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints or escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department.
  8. Performance Tracking: Meet or exceed performance targets such as call handling time, resolution time, customer satisfaction, and sales targets.
  9. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all customer interactions align with company policies and standards.
  10. Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (sales, support, marketing) to resolve customer issues and contribute to process improvements.
