Business Development Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Professional to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and execute account management strategies to drive revenue growth and expand customer relationships.
  • Sales Support and Revenue Growth: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, while ensuring timely delivery of sales and revenue targets.
  • Negotiation and Contract Support: Own the negotiation and contract process for existing accounts, ensuring smooth execution and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of client requirements and communicate market insights to stakeholders.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Track market trends, competitor activities, and category developments to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA in a related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management from Spices Category only.
  • Familiarity with Modern Trade, Qcom platforms, and retail business operations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
