Room Attendant Job Description">

The Room Attendant is a key member of our housekeeping team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the effective delivery of all aspects of the guest experience to the highest levels;
  • Works collaboratively with the team to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest inquiries;
  • Takes ownership of duties and tasks assigned, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner;
  • Delivers on departmental plans and objectives, achieving hotel initiatives and targets;
  • Collaborates with immediate reports to control costs and inventory, attain productivity and performance levels;
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships, promoting the company culture and values;
  • Ensures adherence to legislation, performing follow-up as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in housekeeping beneficial but not essential;
  • Hands-on approach with a can-do work style;
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry;
  • Ability to find creative solutions, taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned;
  • Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment demanding excellence;
  • Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms;
  • Strong communication skills.
