
Executive Culinary Professional

We are seeking an experienced and skilled culinary professional to join our team as a Line Cook. This role requires a high level of expertise in preparing and cooking menu items, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization, and working effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare all basic food items for the menu requested by their supervisor.
- Maintain advanced knife handling skills.
- Work effectively in any kitchen section.
- Possess good knowledge of food and culinary terms.
- Read, understand, follow, and prepare company recipes.
- Effectively complete tasks, work efficiently and productively.
- Adhere to Public Health standards and expectations within their section.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ready for inspections.
- Report for duty on time, follow supervisor's instructions, and maintain personal appearance and hygiene according to company rules.
- Responsible for cost containment through proper use, handling, and maintenance of records, reports, supplies, and equipment.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- A minimum of 4 years experience in upscale hotels, resorts, or cruise ships with at least 2 years as Line Cook (shipboard experience preferred).
- Culinary school degree required.
- Strong management skills in multicultural and dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and people skills.
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of personalized service principles, including needs assessment techniques and guest satisfaction evaluation techniques.
- Strong planning, coaching, organizing, staffing, controlling, and evaluating skills.
- Intermediate computer software skills required.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles such as numbering flow, debits/credits, and adjustments.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence, establishing a rapport with senior officers and the corporate office.
