Job Title: Process Design Specialist
">- Design and Develop Industrial Water Treatment Systems
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing industrial water treatment systems, including reverse osmosis (RO) and desalination systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop process designs for industrial water treatment projects, including RO and desalination systems.
- Prepare preliminary and detailed process designs for various treatment systems, including pretreatment, oil removal, biological treatment, and sludge treatment.
- Develop proficiency in RO and ultrafiltration (UF) membrane design using vendor tools and optimize design based on feedwater quality, recovery targets, and performance guarantees.
- Select and specify process technology and perform process calculations, including hydraulic analysis, pressure drop calculations, line sizing, and membrane/filter sizing.
- Prepare key process deliverables, such as PFD, P&ID, HFD, plant layouts, hydraulic profiles, electrical load lists, and power consumption analysis under guaranteed design conditions.
- Coordinate with PLC/automation engineers to develop, review, and validate process control logic and participate in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in process design and engineering related to industrial water treatment projects.
- Proficiency in RO and UF membrane design using vendor tools.
- Expertise in process technology selection and process calculations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
