Job Title: Water Infrastructure Specialist

  • Create designs for sewerage, water treatment, and flood defence structures, including pump systems and pipe networks.
  • Manage and maintain water and sewerage infrastructure operations to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Present project details and technical information to colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Write comprehensive reports and manage project budgets to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory legislation, guidelines, and industry best practices to ensure projects meet the highest standards.
  • Develop and advertise tender documents, manage contracts, and liaise with clients, contractors, government agencies, local authorities, and suppliers to deliver successful projects.
  • Monitor flood levels, supervise staff and site workers, and use specialist computer applications and simulation software to optimize project outcomes.
  • Ensure projects meet budgetary and timeline requirements while maintaining a focus on quality and safety.
  • Maintain awareness of current environmental issues and their impact on water infrastructure projects.
