Finance and Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Finance and Accounting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing statutory and tax compliances, audit coordination, and monthly financial closing.

  • Compliance & Taxation:
    • Evaluate and ensure timely compliance with all Indian statutory requirements, including TDS, GST, and ROC filings.
    • Coordinate and execute statutory audits, tax audits, and transfer pricing audits.
  • Accounting & Financials:
    • Owning end-to-end accounting and book closure activities.
    • Assisting in the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Ensuring proper documentation and accounting treatment as per applicable standards.
  • Reporting & MIS:
    • Preparing and circulating monthly MIS reports.
    • Supporting in monthly/quarterly financial reviews and presentations.
    • Providing accurate and timely financial data to finance controllers.
  • Audit Management:
    • Handling all audit-related queries and liaising with external auditors.
    • Maintaining proper audit trails and documentation.
    • Ensuring all audit requirements are addressed in a timely and accurate manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent; CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA / M.Com preferred.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in Indian finance and accounts function.
  • In-depth knowledge of TDS, GST, ROC filings, audits, and Indian accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in finalization of accounts and monthly financial closure.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience in accounting systems like Tally, Oracle, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail, accountability, and ability to work independently.
