Job Profile

The primary objective of this role is to comprehensively understand the Indian Vertical Transportation market, promote local expertise, generate sales, and build relationships with customers and regulators.

Key responsibilities include developing a thorough understanding of the VT landscape in India, providing market insights for strategy updates, elaborating business development plans to meet sales targets, promoting TUV SUD as a leading authority in VT, and creating sales leads through industry observation and research.

Additional duties involve effective customer relationship management, scaling business through customer retention, preparing sales presentations and materials, coordinating with global VT experts, and collaborating with other subsidiaries.

Operations and resources planning also form part of this role, including ensuring smooth operations, P&L responsibility, resource management, recruitment, training, and authorization management.

  • Integrative Personality: Strong leadership skills and ability to connect with people are essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in relevant local languages and English (minimum B2 level) are required.
  • Business Acumen: Drive for shaping business development and sales activities is necessary.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with Master's degree beneficial particularly in Business-oriented fields.
