Job Title: Mainframe DB2 Systems Developer Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mainframe DB2 Systems Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and other mainframe technologies.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications that interface with DB2 on IBM Mainframe systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and CICS.
  • Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning in DB2.
  • Analyze user requirements and translate them into system specifications and technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, system integration testing, and UAT support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Evaluate the quality and timeliness of software delivery.
  • Handle batch processing, data migration, and data reconciliation tasks as needed.
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot DB2-related performance and data issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation and adhere to coding standards and compliance policies.
