Job Description

This role entails developing applications and frameworks utilizing mainframe technical skills, including database management systems such as VSAM/DB2.

As a software developer within this technology group, you will provide superior development and maintenance support to the organization as a whole.

Responsibilities include collaborating with business and systems partners to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of the organization.

Key performance indicators for this role include maintaining existing systems in the MVS mainframe environment and ensuring the security and integrity of customer data.

Required skills for success in this position include expertise in mainframe development, specifically COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, utilities, debuggers, schedulers, and Endeavor.

A strong background in data security, unit, functional, and regression testing is also essential for this role.

Additional desirable skills include experience with writing COBOL/Native stored procedures and familiarity with maintaining systems in the MVS mainframe environment.
