
Sales Account Manager

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Executive to join our team. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in various markets, including industrial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and domestic sectors.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B sales, specifically in electronic security systems and audio-visual solutions. They will also possess excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities in assigned markets.
- Generating, qualifying, and closing new sales leads for electronic security systems, audio-visual solutions, and service contracts (AMCs, Managed Services).
- Building strong relationships with key decision-makers, including facility heads, security managers, procurement heads, IT/AV managers, etc.
- Positioning and selling long-term service contracts (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and managed services solutions to new and existing customers.
- Developing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline aligned with targets.
- Understanding customer needs, proposing appropriate solutions, and creating customized offerings across systems and services.
- Working closely with internal teams (engineering, service, project management) to ensure seamless delivery and execution.
- Achieving or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets for both project sales and service contracts.
- Keeping updated on market trends, competitor activities, and technology developments in security, surveillance, and audio-visual solutions.
Requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering, Electronics, or Business Administration).
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in B2B Sales, specifically in Electronic Security Systems and/or Audio-Visual Solutions.
- Strong experience in selling services such as AMC contracts, managed services, or facility technology outsourcing solutions is highly preferred.
- Strong network and market knowledge in Chennai region.
