Job Title: Performance Management Systems Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Management Systems (PMS) Expert to join our team. As a PMS Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our system.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze various aspects of PMS data and other modules to prepare documents as needed.
  • Understand and document client requirements for optimal system performance.
  • Identify gaps between user requirements and system features, providing valuable input to the development team.
  • Test and verify functional aspects of developed modules, producing desired reports or outcomes.
  • Contribute to training internal and external users on PMS and related modules.
  • Create software-related documents, such as feature documents, help files, FAQs, and workflow documents.

Additional Duties:

  • Visit ships for implementation, issue fixing, and training purposes to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Assist vessels in collecting and updating PMS data onboard for accurate record-keeping.
  • Train shipboard personnel on using PMS and other modules, including database backup and system recovery procedures.
  • Provide dedicated support to vessels and remote offices for PMS and related modules.

Requirements:

  • 3rd or 4th engineer or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience in shipping management.
  • Shore experience in a shipping management company as a PMS coordinator/controller with a background in naval architecture and marine engineering.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise computing needs for ship management companies to optimize system performance.
  • Strong organizational skills, including project management and cost analysis for efficient system operation.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English for effective communication.
  • Excellent typing and analytical skills for precise data analysis.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and meticulous individual with an eye for detail.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative work environment.
