Application Monitoring and Optimization Specialist

This is a critical role that involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure application stability, performance, and availability. As an Application Monitoring and Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing application performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Analysis: Proven experience with setup and configuration of monitoring tools is essential for this role. You will work on operational application management, troubleshooting user issues, and performing root cause analysis.
  • Alert Management: Define and fine-tune alerts, integrate them in incident management tooling, and set up alarming for different applications.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks, as well as expertise in setting up and optimizing application code with respect to error handling and alerting.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience in a similar liaison role between application and platform teams, along with knowledge of IT service management practices.
  • Problem-Solving: A problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement is required for this role.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in application monitoring and optimization.
  • Proven experience with setup and configuration of monitoring tools.
  • Experience in operational application management.
  • Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management.
  • Experience with IT service management tools.
  • Knowledge of IT service management practices.
