Flight Operations Specialist

The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end flight bookings, manage complex itineraries, and provide high-touch support for discerning clientele worldwide.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage flight bookings, exchanges, cancellations, and ticket issuance via global distribution systems.
  • Handle multi-city, international, and round-the-world itineraries with ease.
  • Apply airline fare rules and interline agreements to deliver optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Action Passenger Name Records in line with service level agreements and ensure complete documentation across systems.
  • Coordinate fare optimization, refunds, and fare disputes directly with airline partners.
  • Manage special service requests: seat preferences, unaccompanied minors, meals, medical needs, and urgent ticketing issues.
  • Lead Debit Memo Management: Investigate and respond to debit memos with speed and accuracy, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to reduce debit memo occurrences through staff training, documentation, and process improvements.
  • Own Billing and Settlement Plan and Airline Reporting Corporation workflows with precision - from airline invoicing to reconciliation and reporting.

About You

  • You have 5+ years of experience in flight ticketing for High-Net-Worth Individuals, travel agencies, online travel agencies, or corporate desks.
  • You are proficient in at least one global distribution system (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo).
  • You possess a deep understanding of international travel, fare construction, and route planning.
  • You are an expert in billing and settlement plan, airline reporting corporation, PNR management, ticket issuance, and airline invoicing.
  • You hold IATA Foundation or Consultant Certification.
  • You are detail-oriented, fast-paced, and accurate, with strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Bonus: Experience in luxury travel, private aviation, or VIP ticketing is a plus.
