The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IBM iSeries system development, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale enterprise projects. Expertise in RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE (Integrated Language Environment) is essential, as well as solid experience in application design, development, and testing.

A strong proficiency in DB2 for iSeries, including SQL optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling, is also required. Additionally, the candidate should have a solid understanding of iSeries operating systems (OS/400) and system tools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test complex applications using IBM iSeries technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide expertise in IBM iSeries system development, including RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE.
  • Develop and implement robust database solutions using DB2 for iSeries.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Requirements:

  • University graduate with a degree in IT or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10+ years' hands-on experience in IBM iSeries system development.
  • Expertise in IBM iSeries RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE (Integrated Language Environment).
  • Proficiency in DB2 for iSeries (SQL optimization, stored procedures, data modeling).
  • Strong understanding of iSeries operating systems (OS/400) and system tools.
  • Effective English writing and communication skills.
