  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various financial tasks, including issuance of debit notes, accounting of debit and credit notes, and reconciliation of inter-company accounts.

About the Role

  • You will work closely with our global AP, AR, and GL system to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Responsibilities include issuing debit notes from corporate to all inter company, accounting of all debit note/credit note received from corporate and any other inter company after through review and set process, and reconciliation of inter company account.
  • As a key member of our team, you will also be responsible for vendor card creation and update details as and when required as per process, coordination with GL Coordinator of respective entity for any clarification, and coordination and follow up with Approver to get approval before posting any GL entry.
  • Strong knowledge in General Ledger (GL) and reconciliation of GL balance vs. Sub-Ledger is essential for this role.
  • You will also download various reports from ERP during month end process and prepare MIS Report, Revenue Flash Report, and Monthly Report.
  • Reconciliation of GL Balance vs. Sub-Ledger and preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements are critical components of this role.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and ensure completeness of financial records is also an important responsibility.
  • Variance analysis to identify and investigate any discrepancies or anomalies will be performed by you.
  • A strong understanding of GL Process, vendor account reconciliation and payment process based on aging report, and working experience under global AP, AR, and GL system are must-haves for this position.
  • Month end Journal Entry preparation and knowledge of debit & credit are essential skills for this role.
  • Book Keeping and Accounting Entry knowledge is also required.
  • Bank reconciliations statements preparation is another key responsibility.
  • Positive pay uploading tracking & Publishing the positive pay check details on daily basis is also part of the job.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of basic accounting standards and accounting rules is essential for this role.
  • i.e. Navision- Microsoft Dynamics, D-365
  • Good communication skills in English are required.
  • Co-ordination with Foreign entities & associates through email or on-call is a must.
  • Exposure of Medium / Large outsourcing company (5-6 years) is preferred.
  • B Com/ M Com / ICWA / CA Foundation qualification is desired.
