A Chemical Production Specialist at a leading food manufacturer is responsible for overseeing the production of various products.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field and 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and collaborating with quality assurance departments.
- Responsible for all production activities including dispensing, syrup preparation, lozenge formation, compression of lozenges, and packing activity.
- Receive monthly production plans from plant heads and ensure correctness in quantity and material dispensed.
- Making requisitions to quality assurance departments for batch manufacturing records and batch packing records as per production schedules.
- Carry out manufacturing activities as per standard batch manufacturing records and stage-wise labeling for in-process stages.
- Perform quality checks and record in-process quality checks in batch manufacturing records as per standards and frequency.
- Monitor environmental conditions, cleanliness, hygiene practices, and safety work in the production area.
- Maintain machines in good working condition and update running conditions.
- FOLLOW ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS AS PER GMP AND HUMAN RESOURCE DISCIPLINE IN THE DEPARTMENT.
- Produce high-quality level products and communicate with quality assurance departments at any process stage.
- Responsible for all safety activities and safety of men, machine, and building in his area.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
