We are seeking a strategic procurement professional to lead the acquisition of electrical and electronic commodities for our automotive clients.

This role involves managing complex sourcing initiatives, developing vendors, and implementing cost optimization strategies to improve supply chain resilience and reduce costs.

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Leading strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure best-in-class quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Driving localization projects to reduce dependency on imports and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Conducting vendor identification, evaluation, and development for new and existing suppliers.
  • Carrying out cost analysis, supplier negotiations, and benchmarking to achieve cost reduction targets.
  • Collaborating with R&D, design, and quality teams to ensure supplier alignment with technical requirements.
  • Monitoring supplier performance for QCD parameters and initiating improvements.
  • Tracking market trends, raw material cost fluctuations, and new technologies in automotive electronics.
  • Ensuring compliance with IATF/ISO standards, OEM requirements, and ethical sourcing guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, and cost management.
  • Strong negotiation, cost analysis, and supplier management skills.
  • Exposure to APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality processes in the automotive industry.
  • ERP knowledge (SAP/Oracle or equivalent) and MS Office proficiency.
