Job Summary:

The BIM Coordinator role involves leading the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in a newly established office in Mumbai, India. The successful candidate will develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans, ensure alignment with global technical and quality standards, and drive implementation of group BIM workflows and tools.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), implementing ISO 19650 workflows and certification.
  • Manage communication and rollout of any BIM standards changes within the Mumbai office team.
  • Drive implementation of group BIM workflows, tools, and standards at the local level, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Lead staff training, induction, and knowledge-sharing for BIM practices, promoting collaboration and best practices.
  • Coordinate and manage project BIM deliverables, reducing errors and delays through efficient project management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related issues in Mumbai, liaising with the global BIM leadership team.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with ISO 19650 certification, maintaining the highest standards.
  • Oversee BIM-related software license renewals and allocations, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Represent BIM expertise in office meetings, audits, and client coordination, fostering partnerships and growth.
  • Contribute to innovation in BIM workflows and foster cross-office collaboration, driving business excellence.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or relevant Built Environment disciplines.
  • Indian qualified professional with minimum 5+ years' post-qualification experience, demonstrating strong industry expertise.
  • Hands-on expertise in Revit and BIM processes, ideally with experience in an architecture, engineering, or construction company, showcasing proficiency in BIM software.
  • Proven understanding of ISO 19650 implementation and compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Strong leadership skills to align and guide a local BIM/Revit team, driving performance and success.
  • Knowledge across project work stages, particularly in Data Centres, Retail, and Hospitality sectors, highlighting adaptability and versatility.
  • Prior experience working with international client organisations is an advantage, demonstrating ability to navigate diverse cultural contexts.
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written), facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Available to join within 3 months of offer acceptance, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption.
