Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Public Relations Specialist to collaborate with a reputable media agency in Mumbai.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the organization's public image and reputation through effective media relations, content creation, and campaign management.

  1. Media Relations:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and other media professionals to ensure positive media coverage.
  • Respond to media inquiries and act as a spokesperson when necessary, showcasing your exceptional communication skills.
  • Monitor media coverage and share relevant insights with stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
  1. Content Creation:
  • Draft press releases, media kits, speeches, and other PR materials that align with the organization's brand voice and messaging.
  • Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
  1. Campaign Management:
  • Design and execute PR campaigns to enhance brand awareness and support product launches.
  • Measure the effectiveness of campaigns using relevant metrics and analytics tools to drive informed decision-making.
  1. Event Coordination:
  • Plan and organize press conferences, product launches, and other PR events that showcase the organization's expertise and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure events align with the organization's brand image and strategic goals.
  1. Crisis Management:
  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to mitigate potential reputational risks.
  • Address negative publicity proactively and effectively to protect the organization's reputation.
  1. Brand Monitoring:
  • Monitor and analyze public perception of the organization to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance the organization's reputation.
  1. Stakeholder Communication:
  • Coordinate internal communication strategies to align teams with external PR goals.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and trust.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized and able to work under pressure, and have a strong understanding of the PR industry and its best practices. A degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
