This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Technical Support Specialist.

The role involves providing top-notch technical support to customers, helping them resolve technical issues with the ServiceNow software and platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building trust with customers through empathetic communication
  • Employing various diagnostic tools to identify the root cause of technical issues
  • Managing and resolving complex cases assigned to them
  • Coordinating assistance from additional teams for more complex cases

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to provide input on process and product improvements.


Requirements & Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 2 years' experience in customer-facing technical support, preferably in ITOM applications, is also required.


Key Skills

  • Ability to comprehend server-side object-oriented JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting, and Windows scripting
  • Ability to administer servers across OS platforms (Windows/Unix)
  • Familiarity with protocols such as HTTP, TCP, FTP/SFTP, SOAP, and REST
  • Experience with troubleshooting tools like Wireshark and Traceroute
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in analyzing log files and standard debugging concepts


Preferred Qualifications

A solid understanding of object-oriented programming skills, particularly Java, is highly desirable. Experience working with the ServiceNow platform and ITIL business processes is also preferred.
