The APs facilitate seamless, real-time support in technical work environments, fostering collaboration between clients and employees with disabilities.

Overview of the Position

We seek a proactive, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Access Partner to support a blind Data Analyst working within a global Cloud organization.

This role is not about performing tasks for the client, but about enabling them to do so - bridging accessibility gaps in fast-paced, highly technical environments.

The Access Partner will work closely with the Analyst to provide visual interpretation, data summarization, and navigation assistance within platforms such as Azure Portals, Excel, and Visual Studio.

The client uses JAWS and VoiceOver screen readers, and the successful candidate should be familiar with these tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, interpret, and make basic code changes in various programming languages.
  • Create and manage spreadsheets for data tracking and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Utilize formulas, pivot tables, and other Excel tools to streamline workflows and ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in converting and formatting documents to meet accessibility standards.
  • Summarize meetings, manage task follow-ups, and track progress in collaboration with team members.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic coding knowledge and understanding of how code is structured.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate functions and formulas.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and navigating complex technical environments.
  • Strong Communication Skills, with ability to provide support in a clear, professional manner.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication in English, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and related tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong multitasking and follow-up skills.
