Revenue Expert

At our organization, we empower revenue growth through automated billing solutions. This involves managing system requirements, evaluating cutting-edge technologies, designing, developing, integrating, ensuring quality, implementing, and maintaining corporate revenue applications.

The candidate will work in the Revenue & Pricing team, providing technical and functional expertise for building the Revenue Automation flows. As a designer and developer, you will focus on the development of batch processes/tools built on Spark and Python, as well as other technology platforms.

The successful candidate is expected to be a design, coding, and configuration expert, responsible for assisting in advancing the engineering craft of the team related to architecture, design, code quality, scalability, and CI/CD.

The candidate should enjoy working on diverse technologies and functionally complex data-centric applications, be excited to take initiatives to solve complex business problems, and get the job done while taking on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of solutions for revenue automation, including requirement analysis, solution design, technical feasibility, and data analysis.
• As a Lead Developer, take responsibility to own and support the productionized Application.
• Deeply understand existing automation projects that are in Production to support future enhancements.
• Drive the development of new Revenue automation projects by building quick POCs and converting ideas into real products.
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to develop high-quality products and services that meet business requirements and expectations.
• Ensure quality and completeness of all deliverables with hands-on testing and leadership in quality assurance practices.
• Ensure the developed applications meet security compliance criteria and maintain SOX compliant.
• Troubleshoot and resolve time-sensitive production issues, perform root cause analysis, and identify near-term workarounds and permanent solutions.
• Present technical solutions, capabilities, considerations, and features in business terms, effectively communicating status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.
• Mentor junior team members for best practices, code quality, and optimized testing, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive hands-on experience and expertise in Hadoop technologies, majorly Spark and Hive.
• Proficient in Python and Unix Scripting with a deep understanding of best practices and advanced techniques.
• Proven Experience with building complex SQL for extracting, aggregating, and processing big data Pipelines using Hadoop & NoSQL Databases.
• Extensive Experience in independent Data modeling and design with a history of implementing robust and scalable solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure quality for data-driven applications with comprehensive test planning and execution.
• Expertise in configuring CI/CD pipeline using industry-standard tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Maven etc.
• Hands-on experience in Version control using SVN, Git, Bitbucket.
• Experience in designing and building advanced automation solutions to automate, streamline, and optimize manual business processes involving complex data.
