Job Title: Support Services Coordinator
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to join our team as a Support Services Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to various departments, managing schedules, conducting research, attending meetings, and ensuring effective resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and review school operations, including departmental functions and teacher workload management.
- Develop class schedules that take into account teacher workload and extracurricular activities.
- Conduct research on professional development opportunities and share them with teachers and staff.
- Attend meetings and schedule staff team-building sessions.
- Ensure fair allocation of resources.
- Monitor student progress and prepare interventions as needed.
- Manage school security, caretakers, and ground staff.
- Assist with hiring, recruitment, training, and onboarding of new teachers.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with parents, students, and staff at other schools.
- Prepare and submit drafts of proposals, financial reports, and other documents.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in education administration or a related field.
