Sous Chef - Continental Section

As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. We are passionate about what we do, and we believe that anything is possible while having fun.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the smooth operation of the kitchen department to ensure seamless guest dining experiences throughout the hotel.
  • Work proactively to enhance guest satisfaction and comfort by responding promptly to enquiries and resolving problems efficiently.
  • Deliver results-driven performance where kitchen initiatives contribute significantly to hotel objectives.
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a culture of growth, development, and high performance within the department.
  • Ensure effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Review and analyze food offerings to provide recommendations that drive financial performance.
  • Enforce adherence to legislation and best practices, ensuring compliance for internal and external audits, and performing follow-up activities as required.

  • Proven experience in kitchens with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional managerial abilities, coupled with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style commitment to exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to find creative solutions and offer advice and recommendations.
  • Personal integrity with the ability to work in an environment demanding excellence, time, and energy.
  • Experience using IT systems on various platforms.
  • Strong communication skills.
