Key Responsibilities:
- Support the smooth operation of the kitchen department to ensure seamless guest dining experiences throughout the hotel.
- Work proactively to enhance guest satisfaction and comfort by responding promptly to enquiries and resolving problems efficiently.
- Deliver results-driven performance where kitchen initiatives contribute significantly to hotel objectives.
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a culture of growth, development, and high performance within the department.
- Ensure effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Review and analyze food offerings to provide recommendations that drive financial performance.
- Enforce adherence to legislation and best practices, ensuring compliance for internal and external audits, and performing follow-up activities as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in kitchens with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional managerial abilities, coupled with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Ability to find creative solutions and offer advice and recommendations.
- Personal integrity with the ability to work in an environment demanding excellence, time, and energy.
- Experience using IT systems on various platforms.
- Strong communication skills.
