Government Consultant Role Overview

As a seasoned government consultant, you will spearhead business development and advisory engagements in the public sector. Your role will encompass managing consulting activities across multiple sectors, fostering policy implementation through direct engagement with ministries and public agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead government consulting initiatives, overseeing account management activities across IT, electronics, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Develop investment promotion strategies and policy frameworks through direct engagement with government entities.
  • Act as liaison between government and industry during national and international events, trade shows, and investment summits.
  • Conduct policy research, feasibility studies, and sectoral analyses to support decision-making and project development.
  • Nurture opportunities through tenders, empanelments, and public-private partnership (PPP) initiatives.
  • Establish strong relationships with government officials, industry stakeholders, and investors to position the organization as a trusted partner.
  • Maintain MIS dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track policy implementation and project progress.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 3–8 years of experience in government consulting, investment promotion, or infrastructure research.
  • Strong exposure to IT & electronics, urban infrastructure, transport, energy, and water sectors.
  • Proven experience in policy advisory, government liaison, and project facilitation.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
