Job Opportunity: Public Relations Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled communications professional to drive our external presence and media outreach.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic communications plans aligned with our mission and goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with media contacts across various platforms.
- Create and distribute press releases, feature articles, and other content for internal and external audiences.
- Identify opportunities to enhance our online presence and reach through social media and digital channels.
- Cultivate media coverage and manage our online reputation through regular reporting and analysis.
- Support internal teams on campaigns and ensure consistent messaging across all communications channels.
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in PR, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Strong network of media contacts across India, both traditional and digital.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Independent, creative, and deadline-driven individual.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in elevating our visibility, credibility, and storytelling across multiple platforms. They must possess a deep understanding of both traditional and digital communications, as well as the unique needs of non-profits.
