About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting various tools, services, and applications to maintain a reliable site environment.

This role involves executing incident, change management, and problem management processes, as well as building and supporting a reliable application suite. You will provide consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and systems programming.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of system performance, testing, and programming, and be able to monitor, measure, and optimize system performance and network communication. Additionally, you should have knowledge of concepts, values, and tools applied in building Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute on Incident, Change Management, Problem Management processes
  • Build and Support a Reliable Application Suite
  • Provide Technical Support in Life Cycle Planning, Problem Management, Integration, and Systems Programming
  • Monitor Platform Performance and Availability
  • Constantly Work to Improve and Implement Automation of Applications Tasks

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or industry certification in an applicable IT field, with 3 years of experience in the design/administration/support of one or more platforms
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Systems Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer
  • 3 or more years of experience with ops automation using a scripting language such as Python or Ansible
  • Site Reliability Engineering: Knowledge of theories and methodologies of reliability engineering
  • Performance Measurement and Tuning: Knowledge of system performance, testing, and programming
  • CI/CD Pipeline: Knowledge of concepts, values, and tools applied in building CI, CD, and CD pipelines
