Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance Terraform scripts for DBT Cloud, GitHub, etc.
  • Work directly with phData Provision Tool and related infra tooling
  • Automate environment setup, deployments, and key rotation practices
  • Collaborate with STL and Senior Engineer to ensure seamless operations - Handle AWS IAM, RSA key management, and 1Password Vault usage
  • Understand customer requirements, solutions, and project KPIs
  • Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure Setting up tools and required infrastructure
  • Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
  • Review, verify, and validate software code developed in the project
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate bug fixes with developers
  • Monitor processes during the lifecycle and update or create new processes for improvement
  • Plan and build automated processes where possible
  • Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures through vulnerability assessment and risk management
  • Select and deploy CI/CD tools and pipelines
  • B uild continuous integration, development, and deployment pipelines for various technologies and platforms
  • Mentor team members on DevOps collaboration
  • Monitor and measure customer experience and KPIs
  • Plan team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities
  • Coordinate communication within the team and with customers

Required Competencies and Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience with chaos engineering or resilience testing
  • Multi-cloud or hybrid environments experience
  • Write clear runbooks and do postmortems
  • Exposure to Snowflake, FiveTran, DBT Cloud
  • Other data-intensive or distributed systems (Kafka, Cassandra, etc.)
  • SRE practices contributions (e.g., error budgets, blameless postmortems)
  • AWS experience
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation
  • Typical SRE responsibilities: programming/scripting, networking basics, CI/CD, Linux background
  • Thorough knowledge in DevOps practices and concepts
  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins, ArgoCD, configuration automation tools: Ansible
  • Cloud native tools and technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Test automation tools: JMeter, Newman
  • Infrastructure automation tools: Terraform
  • Application monitoring tools: Elasticsearch/Kibana, Prometheus
  • Development language: Java or .NET
  • Scripting knowledge in python/shell with experience on Linux/Windows
  • Team player, effective communication skills
