Reliable Systems Engineer

We're looking for a skilled Reliability Expert to develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and resilient systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience with infrastructure design, automation, collaboration, system monitoring, incident response, performance analysis, disaster recovery, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Development: Design and implement reliable infrastructure for production systems.
  • Automation and Deployment: Automate repetitive operational tasks, deployments, and monitoring to optimize system efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with software engineering teams to build reliable and efficient services.
  • System Monitoring and Alerting: Develop and maintain tools for system monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  • Incident Response and Resolution: Participate in on-call rotations and manage incident response to minimize downtime.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization: Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks or failure points.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.
  • Best Practices and Documentation: Advocate for reliability, availability, and performance best practices throughout the engineering teams and document processes, architecture, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in Reliability Engineering with Tools like Grafana, Prometheus.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Go, Bash, Ruby.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure.
