Director of Cyber Innovation Strategy

The Director of Cyber Innovation Strategy will spearhead the innovation and simulation lab within the organization, fostering an environment of experimentation, prototyping, and applied research.

This role focuses on driving strategic innovation, simulating real-world cybersecurity challenges, and accelerating the development and testing of emerging solutions to future-proof the organization's digital capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define a comprehensive innovation strategy aligned with the organization's goals and overall cybersecurity objectives.
  • Establish a framework for research and innovation activities, including infrastructure enablement, operational models, and outcome measurement.
  • Drive strategic and operational relationships for the implementation and operations of the lab.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of research initiatives and innovation projects.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of various cybersecurity domains in futuristic technologies, emerging trends, and disruptive technologies.
  • Proven experience in leading or supporting innovation initiatives, including ideation, prototyping, and product development.
  • Strong technical background with experience in areas such as cloud computing, networking, and programming languages relevant to cybersecurity.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and align innovation efforts with the organization's business objectives.
