Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Monitor and control quality processes across all stages of production, from raw material inspection to final product testing.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to achieve quality objectives.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and customer-specific requirements for LV electrical panels.
- Drive initiatives for process optimization, defect reduction, and quality improvement using tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
- Oversee testing procedures, including dielectric tests, temperature rise tests, and short-circuit withstand tests, to ensure product reliability and safety.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications and conduct supplier audits as needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer queries, complaints, and audits.
- Maintain accurate quality records, prepare reports, and present quality performance metrics to senior management.
- Identify potential quality risks and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate them.
- Conduct training programs for employees on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or certifications in Quality Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the LV electrical panel or similar electrical manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of LV electrical panel design, manufacturing processes, and testing standards.
- Expertise in QMS, Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in quality tools like FMEA, Pareto charts, and root cause analysis.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management software.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards is highly desirable.
