Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Quality Tester to fill this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure the highest level of software quality.
  • Conduct extensive database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using specialized tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and define effective test scenarios.
  • Perform thorough functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Ensure compliance with established organizational software development and testing standards.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed, actionable reports on software performance and any identified issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in software testing (candidates with strong knowledge are welcome to apply).
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Hands-on experience in:
  • Manual testing methods
  • Automation testing techniques using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium
  • Database testing methodologies using SQL
  • Proficiency with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
