We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Care Companion to join our team at Bluebird Care Derbyshire Dales & Amber Valley. As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.
About the Role- Promote health and wellbeing, enabling customers to live life to the full
- Prepare meals and assist with daily tasks
- Support social outings and companionship
- Provide personal care duties, including medication administration
You will live with our customers for 1-3 weeks, depending on your preference, and have regular breaks to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our team works a maximum of 3 weeks at a time to ensure that you have adequate rest and can provide the best possible care.
Requirements- Minimum 12 months' experience in a professional caring role
- Naturally compassionate, caring, and patient individual
- Able to provide high-quality care in a professional manner
- Competitive rates: £770 - £840 per week (£725 during probation)
- Bank Holiday supplements: £50 (Christmas Day: £100)
- Daily 2-hour breaks guaranteed
- 35p per mile for customer use (if applicable)
- 28 days paid holiday
- Pension scheme
- Ongoing training and support
