The role involves designing and developing mechanical packaging, structures, and thermal management systems for high-voltage power inverters.
About the Position:
A mechanical design engineer with expertise in high-voltage (HV) inverter design is required to work on the development of high-voltage power inverters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing mechanical packaging, structures, and thermal management systems for HV power inverters.
- Knowledge of HV inverter mechanical design and development.
- Understanding of high voltage inverter components like Power modules, DC Link capacitor, EMC filter, Shieldings.
- Familiarity with clearances and creepage.
- Basic knowledge of structural, thermal simulations.
- Advanced skills in Unigraphics NX (Modelling, Drafting, Plastic & casting design, Generative sheet metal, Generative shape design, DMU).
- Excellent drafting knowledge and adherence to international standards.
- Knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in HV inverter mechanical design and development.
- Advanced/expert skills in Unigraphics NX.
- Excellent drafting knowledge and adherence to international standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
