High-Voltage Inverter Mechanical Designer

Our company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.
A high-voltage (HV) inverter mechanical design engineer plays a crucial role in the development of high-voltage inverters, focusing on the mechanical aspects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for HV inverters.
Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrate knowledge of HV Inverter Mechanical Design and Development
- Understand High Voltage Inverter Components such as Power Modules, DC Link Capacitors, EMC Filters, and Shieldings
- Familiarity with Clearances and Creepage Distances
- Experience with Basic Simulations for Structural, Thermal, and Other Aspects
- Expertise in Unigraphics NX for Modeling, Drafting, Plastic and Casting Design, Generative Sheet Metal, Generative Shape Design, and DMU
- Excellent Drafting Skills and Knowledge of International Standards
- Understanding of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Expertise in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/DFA)
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills and Attention to Detail
- Ability to Prioritize and Manage Multiple Tasks in a Fast-Paced Environment
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills with Cross-Functional Teams and Stakeholders
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, and at least 5 years of working experience in automotive product design, specifically inverter design.
