Overview of the Position:
We are seeking a skilled High-Voltage Inverter Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-voltage inverters.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical packaging, structures, and thermal management systems for high-voltage power inverters.
- Develop knowledge of HV inverter mechanical design and development.
- Understand high voltage inverter components such as power modules, DC link capacitors, EMC filters, and shielding.
- Knowledge on clearances and creepage.
- Basic understanding of structural, thermal, and other simulations.
- Expertise in Unigraphics NX (modelling, drafting, plastic & casting design, generative sheet metal, generative shape design, DMU).
- Excellent drafting skills and adherence to international standards.
- Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing expertise.
- Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in high-voltage inverter design.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical design and development.
- Proficiency in Unigraphics NX.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
