About Us:

We are seeking an experienced Electrified Powertrain Systems Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing and developing high-voltage electrical systems for electrified powertrains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform power electronics systems engineering and failure analysis for electrified powertrain projects.
  • Apply technical knowledge of chargers, converters, inverters, electric machines, batteries, thermal management, EMI/EMC, and mechanical systems.
  • Act as Electrical SME for HV powertrain systems - developing high-voltage electrical schematics and block diagrams.
  • Coordinate electrical specifications across multiple system components and engineering teams.
  • Conduct electrical modelling and simulation for power electronics and powertrain integration (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Drive system-level requirements engineering and ensure verification through validation methods.
  • Root cause investigations using 8D methodology.
  • Support DFMEA development and Functional Safety activities.
  • Design and release HV system architectures across electrified powertrain platforms.
  • Provide technical support during system-level testing and analyse rig test results.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in high-voltage power electronics systems.
  • Direct experience with BEV, MHEV, and PHEV powertrain architectures and technologies.
  • Familiarity with complex high-voltage system design and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in specifying low- and high-voltage hardware, including protection and diagnostic systems.
  • Experience using simulation tools for thermal performance and durability verification.
