EV Powertrain Simulation Leader

As a senior software and hardware simulation engineer, you will lead the EV powertrain department's simulation team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet cost, time, and quality targets.
Responsibilities include managing software and hardware simulation teams, supporting powertrain software on defined projects, assimilating and distributing knowledge within the wider team, and ensuring all software deliverables meet set targets.
You will be the point of contact for customers and suppliers to powertrain calibration functions, defining requirements for powertrain systems and validating them. Additionally, you will ensure software deliverables are delivered in line with system design specifications and manage external suppliers to achieve software team goals.
The role also involves developing a software management strategy for the wider powertrain team, preparing project-timing plans for powertrain and program teams, and supporting modifications to software on future model year actions.
Furthermore, you will manage software hardware/tools to support development activity, maintain the software database for responsible programs, and guide and train other team members.
