Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Insurance Manager to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for sales generation, client consultation, and product knowledge.
You will actively prospect for new clients through various lead generation activities, including networking, referrals, cold calling, and leveraging digital platforms.
As an Insurance Manager, you will conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' insurance requirements and financial situations.
You will develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all insurance products offered by the company, including their features, benefits, and limitations.
You will recommend and sell appropriate insurance policies to meet individual and business clients' needs, ensuring they understand the coverage and terms.
You will prepare accurate and competitive insurance quotes and proposals, guide clients through the application process, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
You will build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor for all their insurance needs.
Additionally, you will provide ongoing support to clients, including assisting with policy renewals, endorsements, and claims processes.
You will achieve and exceed sales targets as set by the company, maintain accurate sales records, and provide regular reports on sales activities and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation: Actively prospect for new clients through various lead generation activities.
- Client Consultation: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' insurance requirements and financial situations.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all insurance products offered by the company.
- Customized Solutions: Recommend and sell appropriate insurance policies to meet individual and business clients' needs.
- Quotation and Proposal Generation: Prepare accurate and competitive insurance quotes and proposals.
- Policys Application and Processing: Guide clients through the application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Policys Servicing: Provide ongoing support to clients, including assisting with policy renewals, endorsements, and claims processes.
- Sales Targets and Reporting: Achieve and exceed sales targets as set by the company, maintain accurate sales records, and provide regular reports on sales activities and progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
- Ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
- Customer-centric approach with a strong focus on providing excellent service.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM software (preferred).
