Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Solutions Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing superior analytical solutions that meet the complex needs of the insurance industry.

Your primary objective will be to implement ideal solutions through the creation and management of product and system configurations. You will work closely with a team consisting of project managers, business analysts, team leads, developers, and QA specialists to ensure alignment of OIPA systems and business rules with desired system behavior.

You will research and evaluate business needs and system capabilities, integrating product, service, and technical requirements to create optimal OIPA business solutions while maximizing configuration and functionality within the system.

Additionally, you will perform detailed estimates, high-level and detailed level designs, and sprint planning. You will mentor team members in OIPA best practices for product setup, configuration development, and release management. You will also perform code reviews of configurations and maintain and grow insurance industry and technical knowledge competencies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent job experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with the OIPA platform or equivalent job experience
  • Extensive product knowledge of insurance and annuity products
  • Highly skilled with XML, SQL, and relational entity databases
  • MS Office Suite with strong emphasis in Excel, Word, and Visio
  • Strong analytical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
