Job Overview

We are seeking a Functional Cost Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the functional financial processes, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and internal controls.

  • Develop and track transformation initiatives aligned with the functional strategy.
  • Support the leadership team in improving processes and achieving excellence.
  • Provide actionable financial reporting to the leadership team.
  • Manage business risks and opportunities to deliver optimal financial outcomes.

You will work closely with accounting and other finance departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure timely cost recognition.
  • Collaborate with the tax team on fiscal matters related to overhead cost sharing or projects.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in financial analysis and controlling functions, hold a Chartered Accountant/Cost & Management Accountant/MBA (Finance) degree from a reputable institution, and possess proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of ERP systems and Business Warehouse is desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Functional P&L analysis and relevant B/S accounts.
  • Monitor functional cost development, including operations, one-offs, and projects.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes.
  • Analyze actuals vs budget and track transformation initiatives savings.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and analytical support.
